Happy New Year

As 2012 is coming to an end I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and thank everyone who took time out of their day to view this blog. See you in 2013 :) !!!!!!!!!!

First post using new laptop, also How was Christmas?

Even though it was a week ago, how was everyone's Christmas? I hope it was as good as mine or even better. The weeks before Christmas was full of anticipation and everyone rushing to get things done before Christmas. It came and went on its merry way. So much just for one day, and some of us tend to forget the true meaning of the holiday season, which is not guessing how many presents a person is getting. Its better to give than receive. The holiday season is about being with family and friends and being thankful that you all are together once again. Happy and healthy. I plan on putting up another post later on tonight before midnight, so until then have a good New Year's Eve

Christmas Eve

Tomorrow is Christmas and I am so excited, nothing special is happening except for the fact that all of the family will be home tomorrow. As of right now my childhood has reentered the building, the reason why I'm saying this is because I am watching Animaniacs. This show was one of my favorites when I was younger along with Tiny Toons and Rugrats. Last week when my childhood resurfaced for the first time in month's, it was showing my all time favorite Disney movie Beauty and the Beast and after the original Cinderella movie. Well I guess that's all for now until tomorrow. Goodnight/ Merry Christmas to all who are reading this in different time zones.

December

So I really wanted to put up a post on the 1st but never got to it. The past couple of days have been pretty good, my sister's birthday was on the second and I got her shoes to match with her outfit. On Monday, my aunt came from Grenada and she's spending the whole month with us. On Friday I got blood work done, after the fourth attempt of looking for my vein the blood finally decided to flow out, leaving me with sore little red bumps in the crease of my arms. Tomorrow is the start of exam week and I'm worrying about whether or not I will pass my exams on Wednesday and Thursday, well back to studying.

I have just set myself up for a sleepless night :/

As of right now I am watching American Horror Story: Asylum and I'm scared out of my mind, but for some reason I just can't change the channel, hope I can fall asleep tonight. At least I don't have to wake up early tomorrow. Other than that, today was a good day, despite what I have just gotten myself into. Well I guess it's time to say goodnight/good morning, also if anyone is reading this can you explain the meaning of this show that is mentioned above.

November Firsts

This month was full of firsts for me. I drank a latte for the first time two weeks ago, it was hazelnut from McDonald's, at first it was bitter but I got used to it, now I have to try Pumpkin spice. Another first for me was driving on the main road (just got my permit this year, wasn't ready when I was a teenager) and I was freaking out, but now not so much, ready for my next driving lesson. ;)

Fall, oh how I adore you

I love the Fall season, the way the leaves change colors, how the temperature gets cooler and the fast approach of the upcoming holidays. Even though where I live the changes are not as dramatic as other places. So I guess I'm in love with the idea of Fall.

Thoughts

So I haven't been on this blog for 2 1/2 weeks now, cause homework has taken over my life, oh gosh. One of my family members has passed away and my dad and uncle went to New York for the funeral. Because of hurricane sandy, their flight was cancelled the last minute to come home, which meant a longer stay for them, so thankful my family up north were safe. On the bright side, they both came back home a couple of days later and me and the family that were left at home got new clothes to put in our closet. So yesterday I was watching the weather channel and they were talking about a snow storm headed to New York by the end of this week, the hurricane was last week and now a snow storm. I continued to listen about how some people just got their power back just to lose it again. Some parts of New York and New Jersey flooded, houses completely destroyed and still no power. Yes, city officials are doing everything they can to help out, but its just so sad to hear what is happening, many prayers go out to them.

Bittersweet

Just finished my math homework, now back to my English essay. The reason why I am writing this is to do a little venting on my bittersweet relationship with math. The reasons why our relationship is so bittersweet is because whenever I do a math problem, I get some sort of anxiety or panic and then I start stressing on whether or not the answer is right, then when the answer is right all of the panic and stress goes away. Then there are other times I'm filled with so much happiness because I got through a math problem without any difficulty and then the answer I get ends up being wrong, those are the times when I just want to give up and wish I had a time machine. No offense to anyone that loves math, but I wish I had a time machine so I can go back in time and find the person or group of people that decided to make math so complicated by adding letters and methods to solve a problem. Well I'm done for now, back to my essay. :)

Where would you go?

So I was asked last year by my dad where would I go if I had plane tickets to go anywhere in the United States. While thinking of this question, nothing came to mind, the only thought was why the U.S. and not Europe. Maybe its was just my fascination with the country, not sure. But when I think of the question now I would go to New York again and New Orleans for Mardi Gras.
If the question was where in Europe would I go if I won  free plane tickets it would be:
England
France
Italy
Greece
and maybe the whole world, except for places that snow all year round.
If anyone reads this, where would you go?
